As one of Australia's leading independent schools for boys, EPIC College welcomes international students from across the globe to our multicultural EPIC Family.
All boys attending EPIC on an International Student Visa join our close-knit boarding community for the duration of their time at EPIC, living and learning within our stunning 27-hectare campus. Located in the suburb of Hawthorn and bounded on one side by the iconic Yarra River, EPIC sits just 7km from Melbourne’s city centre. Our students enjoy clean air in a safe urban environment, and easy access to Melbourne city by train and tram.
EPIC is well-connected with several of Melbourne’s world-class universities, with many boys continuing to tertiary studies at Monash University, University of Melbourne, RMIT University and more.
International Enrolment Information
East Preston Islamic College (EPIC) is not a CRICOS school and can only enrol international students who hold a dependent visa while their parents are studying in Australia.
Students may enter the College at any year level, subject to availability. To avoid disappointment, applications should be submitted at least six months in advance. Where places are unavailable, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
Expression of Interest
Families wishing to enrol are required to complete the online Expression of Interest form as the first step in the application process.
2026 International Student Fees
A non-refundable enrolment fee of $50 per child is payable upon application.
Prep / Foundation Enrolments
Students must be five years of age before 30 April and have attended kindergarten. Fees remain payable during extended absences and are non-refundable.
A portion of fees collected may be allocated to support the operation of the College’s Early Learning Centre.
Payments & Conditions
Fifty percent of tuition fees are payable before the commencement of Term 1, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to Term 4. Students commencing mid-year must pay the full pro-rata amount in advance.

Academic Excellence Scholarships, Hifz Scholarships are awarded based on the results of an academic test and supporting documentation provided at the time of application, as well as Hifz Scolarships are available for students who has completed thir Hifz. General Excellence Scholarships are awarded based on the results of an academic test and supporting documentation provided at the time of application, as well as an interview with the Director of Extension Studies or nominated delegate. Interviews will be held either in person or via video conference, depending on the applicant’s location.
